Though a little later than planned (thanks to work) I bring you the newest faction expansion to the game; The Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire. If these two weren't enough there is also a MASSIVE technology leap from the first incarnation of it; Freeform Technology. No longer are you restricted to tech ladder chains, wasting valuable resources on tech you don't need. Now you focus your tactics on one or multiple types of unit or game type, as well as this I have added 2 new tech ladders; Unit Technology and Home World Technology. No longer do you have full access to all of your ships from the start but instead you have to spend resources on the right ship for you using the Freeform Unit Technology, then after you have chosen the units you want to build, bolster your starting world with a host of new abilities and upgrades from the Freeform Home World Technology.

I plan on re-releasing ALL factions fleet sheets to accommodate the necessary rule changes that could well include close to 8 A4 pages of fleet for each faction! This would bring Budget Conquest to a whole new scale in terms of game play wise though I truly hope I don't step onto Twilight Imperium's toes!
